August in the City
Hey,
Man! I used to love Lisbon in August. There’s like nobody here.
But now, half my gaming buddies have jobs and all, which means they have vacations and stuff, and you know what? Nobody’s here!
This sucks! My D&D campaign totally froze, right when I was getting ready to take it in a new direction, at the collective request of my players, no less.
Fortunately, September is upon us and the next session has finally been scheduled. Yay!
In the meantime, Joshua “El Fuego” BishopRoby posted some wisdom that should not be missed by anyone who wants to be a game designer.
Cheers,
J.

God!, and if it isn’t so true what Joshua just wrote on it. It’s all about the interaction between all players. I’ll write it as my mantra and place it in front of me all the time when writing Mythos. Thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks for the link to Joshua’s post; that one had slipped by me and you’re right, it’s not one to be missed.
Speaking of scheduling seassions… can’t we schedule our own ocasional sessions a bit more in advance? A couple of hours of warning is usually not enough for me, eheh.

Hey, Ric,
Yeah, it’s been kind of gruelling. I only haven’t committed to a decent schedule yet because all my D&D players are scattered to the winds.
As soon as I get things settled, Id like to go for a session every two weeks, on Fridays.
Rogério wants to try Dust Devils next. Up for it?
Cheers,
J.
