Hey, all,
In just two days, I’ll be leaving for my annual* June retreat. This is my going away post and I’m brimming with anticipation, can you tell?
Because of the way the holidays landed this year, it’s gonna be an extended one. Holidays on a Tuesday and a Thursday in the same week. Only in Portugal! What a country… (oh, and just so you know, I’m saying this is a bad thing, even though I’m totally using it for my retreat!)
So. I’m leaving next Friday night, and I should be back the Sunday after that. Nine days packed with RPG playing and general fun-having! It’s gonna be wicked cool.
The games we’re taking with us: The Shadow Of Yesterday for the long haul; Torchbearer and The 101 for playtesting; My Life With Master as a filler; Donjon as a backup.
When I come back, you can bet I’m going to have all sorts of wonderful stories to tell!
See ya in a few days,
J.
My life with master? E a Ana vai nisso? hhhmmmm….
Hi,
LOL! Elora asks if Ana, my wife, has actually agreed to play a game called My Life With Master. Let me reassure you, she’s completely on board!
Cheers,
J.
The only thing bugging me about the whole affair is that I’m gonna be missing on the World Series; unless you guys have a tv there?
Hey,
The World Series? I didn’t know you were a baseball fan…
Yes, there’s a TV, no, I hope baseball doesn’t get thrown in my face.
Cheers,
J.
Ele queria dizer futebol (e daquele que se joga na Europa, já agora). Não entres em panico, são, no máximo, 3 jogos.
Hi,
Elora has set me straight. Apparently, Rui meant football, or soccer, as it is known across the pond.
In that case, Rui, I wouldn’t know. I have a deep ingrained allergy to all things footbally.
Cheers,
J.
Hello, everyone,
I’M OUTTA HERE!!! Next post is at least nine days from now!
Cheers,
J.
